On our travels to MIDEM in France recently we came
across this secret weapon. Word has it that DeGraft is
an estranged member of the Belgian royal family living in Monte Carlo,
some say he’s a reclusive Austrian millionaire with ties to Julian Assange,
either way, this newcomer gets proceedings underway with a properly large
vocal club cut that’s purpose-built for big house rooms.
Taking its cue from classics like Delerium’s ‘Silence’,
Am I Dreaming builds around a striking, brilliantly executed
vocal, delivering a final ‘moment’ that never fails to win over the fussiest
of floors.
